Ben’s Grill House

Today we went to Ben’s Grill House, a food cart attached to Sweet Basil Thai on NE 31st and Broadway. I learned about it from my classmate, Ben, whose family has owned Sweet Basil Thai for 15 years! Since my family always goes to Sweet Basil, and I love their authentic Thai food, I knew it was going to be awesome. (My favorite dish at Sweet Basil is I love veggies- one of my most favorite dishes of all time!)

Shortly after we got to Ben’s, we met a giant group of friends from school and we all ordered teriyaki chicken. IT WAS DELICIOUS. And since I was so hungry after a long day at school, I dug in! The perfectly grilled chicken was served over rice, fresh lettuce, and the best peanut sauce ever. I have a feeling we’ll be eating at Ben’s a lot!

 

Ben’s grill house is also very kid friendly, not only because they have delicious food that any kid would want (I know from experience), they also have 3 different types of burgers: A cheeseburger, a Thai beef burger, and a grilled teriyaki burger! To sum it up, Ben’s is a reliable food cart!
