We have no school tomorrow so my mom started our little vacation by taking us to the Grilled Cheese Grill, a food cart with a huge, artsy, yellow school bus for seating. I got The Slim Kid- a grilled cheese sandwich, salt & pepper potato chips and a pickle for $3. The bus was really cool but the mural on the ceiling was pretty distracting- I almost forgot to eat my sandwich! The sandwich was good and went really well with my mom’s tomato soup. Next time I will get The Hungry Kid, which comes with 2 sandwiches and a tomato soup.

This is the first food cart that gets a LEO STAMP OF APPROVAL (my 7 year old brother). Leo’s Note: After your grilled cheese sandwich, you can head up the road to Cupcake Jones. The cupcakes were delicious but I found them too BIG!

I’m reading your review of Grilled Cheese Grill from Tel Aviv, Israel. I love a grilled cheese sandwich especially with tomato soup but haven’t eaten one in many years. Maybe I will try it when I return to Portland simply based on your recommendation. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Wow, $3 for dinner. That is awesome! I will have to take my kids there. Your blog format is really fantastic, I will have to ask you for tips someday. Good to know about the cupcakes from Leo, although I don’t personally mind a large cupcake. And I know the Leo stamp of approval means alot. Great review!
